[In English and Cantonese] City folks in Hong Kong might have come across this ‘English words as Chinese characters’ creation in the public space in the recent year. In this episode, we explored the works of Xu Bing, a Chinese contemporary artist, particularly on his Square Word Calligraphy, which can be seen in Hong Kong’s Wan Chai train station and the façade of the Hong Kong Museum of Art.
